- Basics: Introduction to computers, hardware, software, and GUI-based operating systems like Windows.
- Office Automation: Comprehensive training in Microsoft Word (document formatting), PowerPoint (professional presentations), and Advanced Excel for financial data analysis and report generation.
- Manual Accounting (The Foundation)
- Principles: Learning the golden rules of accounting, double-entry systems, and the accounting cycle.
- Recording: Hands-on practice with journal entries, ledgers, trial balances, and voucher preparation.
- Final Accounts: Training on preparing Balance Sheets and Profit & Loss statements.
- Computerized Accounting (Software Training)
- Tally Prime / Tally ERP 9: This is the heart of the course, covering company creation, ledger management, and inventory tracking (Godowns, Stock Groups, Units of Measure).
- Advanced Features: Managing cost centers, bill-wise details, budget controls, and bank reconciliation (BRS).
- Other Tools: Some institutes also introduce QuickBooks or BUSY accounting software.
- Taxation & Compliance
- GST (Goods and Services Tax): Practical implementation of CGST, SGST, IGST, and filing GST returns.
- Direct Taxes: Basics of Income Tax, TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), and TCS calculations.
- Payroll: Managing employee attendance, pay structures, EPF, and ESI.
- Financial Management & Markets
- Banking: Overview of the Indian banking system, online banking, and e-billing.
