· Fundamentals of Computers: History, generations, hardware, software, I/O devices, and data representation.
· Operating Systems: Windows file and folder management, control panel, and basic MS-DOS.
· Microsoft Office Suite:
o MS Word: Document creation, formatting, tables, mail merge, and templates.
o MS Excel: Spreadsheets, formulas, functions, pivot tables, and data entry.
o MS PowerPoint: Presentations, slide transitions, and animations.
· Internet & Email: Browsing, searching, downloading, web safety, and email management.
· Cybersecurity Basics: Computer viruses, malware, antivirus tools, and data privacy
Semester 2 Syllabus
· Accounting Software: Tally Prime / Tally ERP with GST, inventory management, and financial vouchers.
· Desktop Publishing (DTP) & Graphics:
o Adobe Photoshop: Image editing, layers, and digital graphics.
o CorelDRAW: Vector graphics and layout design.
o Adobe InDesign / PageMaker: Page layout and publishing.
· Web Designing Fundamentals:
o HTML & CSS: Structure and styling of web pages.
· Programming & Database Basics:
o Introduction to programming concepts (C, C++, or Java/Python basics depending on the institute).
o Database Management Systems (DBMS): Introduction to SQL and MS Access.
· Practical Project Work: Real-world office or design project submission.
